After Waterloo, Amelia raises her son in poverty and remains devoted to George’s memory, while Dobbin quietly supports her before departing for India. Becky and Rawdon rise through fashionable society, living on credit and relying on her beauty, charm, and increasingly compromising relationship with the powerful Marquis of Steyne.
